About Us

After being asked many times ''Is there a toy store here'', Dolores and I saw an opportunity and opened ''The Toy Box''. Featuring trendy puzzles, retro games, stuffed animals, cars, firetrucks, and Christmas decorations, we strive to be your destination.

We first met in 1989 when I was assigned to the Marine Detachment aboard the U.S.S New Jersey (BB-62) in Long Beach. Soon after, we married and began raising our son, Sean, now 31.

Today, we own three businesses—two in South County and one in Temecula. A former logistics manager, Dolores spearheads our operations, point-of-sale, and product decisions, while I, a 30-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran and retired Orange County Probation Officer, manage the administrative and personnel aspects of the business. The new toy store has been a true passion project for us.
