About this Group:
We're tentatively calling ourselves Young Innovators Network (YIN). Apparently when you're starting a group out of thin air you need a mission statement so here's what we've settled on:
Young Innovators Network supports young adults' personal and professional growth. Providing knowledge, skills, strategies, and connection we nurture the development of well-rounded individuals. We'll host educational workshops and fun networking events with access to some amazing speakers and mentors.
We want to help people that feel, or are, thinkers, potential leaders, or entreprenuers.
Hope to see you June 15th. To clarify, this is a 21+ event.
4:30 - 5:00pm - Arrive and mingle
No pressure to make conversation with randos. We'll facilitate all this with a little breaking of the ice, if you will.
5:00 - 5:30pm - 15-20 minutes "Ted Talk"
JJ Wenrich discusses the importance of financial literacy (which, let's be honest, we all could benefit from a little how-to with our money).
5:30 - 6:00pm - Trivia (where you can win free s#*t prizes)
We're going to test you (in groups of 3) just how well you know the Spanish Village by the Sea! Don't worry if you don't know much about this beautiful little town, you're still a winner in our hearts.
