Chamber Features Member Restaurants and area Wineries at “The Original Taste of San Clemente”
As this article was being written, the “Taste of San Clemente” was almost completely sold-out…and no wonder…this elegant event will feature culinary masterpieces from over twenty of the areas finest restaurants, as well as sixteen premium wineries from throughout California, ice cold Microbrews and more. Everyone is sure to find something pleasing to the palette…and new restaurants to try after the “Taste of San Clemente.” Please call the Chamber immediately to see if there are still tickets available.
The “Taste” will be held at the historic & beautiful Casino San Clementeon Friday, November 1, 2013, which will mark the 23rd Annual “Taste of San Clemente,” sponsored by Casino San Clemente, The Toll Roads, Southern California Edison, Saddleback Memorial Medical Center San Clemente, San Clemente Villas by the Sea, Rod’s Tree Service, CR&R Environmental Services, Wal-Mart, Universal Press, Inc., L Design Downtown Flowers, Creative Images & OrangeCoastMagazine.

Those attending will enjoy a wine tasting from area vineyards as well as a sampling of Microbrews. Guests will receive an engraved, limited edition “Taste of San Clemente” wine glass or beer mug.
In addition, the event will include a fabulous Silent Auction with over forty wonderful baskets and gifts.
The Taste will include dancing to the fabulous band “Sandbox.” Sandbox is a high-energy rock cover band that is at the top of their game. With regular appearances in Las Vegas, at Disneyland, top-notch resorts and private events nationwide. This is one act where every person in the band is exciting to watch and dance to. Collectively the members of Sandbox have toured the world, recorded major TV and Film projects and have appeared on scores of TV shows. You also know them as DBS – A Tribute to Journey. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and concludes at 10:00 p.m. The ticket price includes a complimentary "Taste of San Clemente" wine glass or beer mug, food, wine, entertainment and valet parking.
We will have a variety of fine cigars available for your pleasure, provided by Sweet Ash Cigars.
