The San Clemente Fiesta Music Festival is presented by the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce and participating sponsors.  It is a unique family-orientated event, held on the second Sunday in August from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The Fiesta Street Festival Block Party represents a variety of activities that attract numerous families and visitors to the Southern California Coast year after year, people will attend this party.
Sponsoring the Fiesta is a tremendous opportunity to develop public awareness of your business and/or service.  It also sends a message of your willingness to extend goodwill toward your community. This year's event is a highly visible advertising tool in local and regional markets. The Fiesta Street Festival includes a variety of family activities.
The Fiesta's attendance has grown annually with participants and spectators converging on San Clemente for this summer celebration.  The uniqueness of San Clemente, the "Spanish Village by the Sea," is resourcefully showcased during the August event.  Sponsorship of the summer Fiesta is designed to provide positive revenue and exposure to businesses and local nonprofit organizations.  All the food and game booths for this event are run by the local nonprofit organizations, as a way of helping them raise much-needed funds.  Those funds are then distributed throughout the community for very worthwhile causes.
The San Clemente Street Festival is held on picturesque Ave. Del Mar, where the two main blocks of downtown San Clemente are dedicated to an entire day of FUN.
The San Clemente Fiesta Music Street Festival - This event features activities for the whole family, including:  Food and game booths sponsored by local nonprofit organizations, three stages with continuous live music throughout the day, contests for all ages, a Salsa Challenge, arts & crafts show, kiddie area, exhibits, face painters and much more.
Non-Profit Food & Games Booths
We have forty-five local, nonprofit service organizations that use the Fiesta as their yearly fund-raiser.  Their contributions to the event include: array of international food booths, refreshments and game booths for all ages.  This opportunity for our local service organizations has been a means for local business, through the Chamber of Commerce, to work as a unit for the betterment of our community.
Live Entertainment
Three stages with continuous entertainment throughout the day.  Each year thousands of people attend the Fiesta, while musical groups play tunes ranging from rock-n-roll to country to blues.  Participants can enjoy music throughout the day and into the evening, whether they dance or just listen.  Headlining artists at the Fiesta have included such great names as the DBA-A Tribute to Journey, A Tribute to the Drifters, Hotel California-A Tribute to the Eagles and Wild Child-A Tribute to the Doors.  There are also performances from local nonprofit dance groups, strolling magicians, artists, jugglers and clowns.  Whatever your taste is in music and dancing, the Fiesta will have it.
Contests and events, for all ages, are planned, including: Hula Hoop Contest, Pie Eating Contest, Baskin Robbins Brain Freeze Ice Cream Eating Contest, Jump Rope, Tortilla Toss, Easter Egg Hunt, Costco Diaper Derby, Piñata Contest, Pickle Eating and Rocket Fizz Soda & Candy Shop Bubble Gum Blowing Contest.
Salsa Challenge
The Salsa Challenge is back and hotter than ever!  Lured by the aroma of chili peppers and the beat of Mariachi music, Southern Californians enjoy this flavored-filled contest.  Individual and restaurant chefs create recipes which are then judged.  This contest continues to expand in popularity.
