Accreditation

In January 2010, the United States Chamber of Commerce awarded the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce with 5-Star Accreditation for its sound policies, effective organizational procedures, and positive impact on the community.

The only national program recognizing chambers for their effective organizational procedures and community involvement, Accreditation process allowed the Chamber to renew, improve, and promote sound business practices, policies, and procedures. The San Clemente Chamber demonstrated outstanding competency in 9 core areas including: Governance, Finance, Human Resources, Government, Program Development, Technology, Communications and Facilities.

Accreditation validates a chamber as having programs that benefit their local economy and for positively influencing action in their community. The San Clemente Chamber was recognized for advancing the principles of free enterprise.

Local chambers are rated Accredited or Accredited 3-Stars, 4-Stars, or 5-Stars. The final determination is made by the Accrediting Board, a committee of U.S. Chamber board members.

This prestigious honor puts us among the top 1% of chambers nationwide. There are only 63 - 5 Star rated Chambers in the Nation ? Only 5 in California.
